Job Title:  IT / AV Sales Rep
Job Location: 
Silver Spring, Maryland
Total AV is seeking experienced sales person for Washington, Maryland and Virginia area.  Candidates should have a proven history of sales success with IP based solution sales, audio/video systems, video conferencing and network systems.

Candidate will:

  • Maintain existing accounts

  • Introduce new technologies

  • Develop new accounts

  • Coordinate projects with customers, engineering and integration manager

Requirements:

  • Four years of sales experience

  • Ability to prepare basic system design

  • AV system experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products

  • Ability to write business letters and proposals

  • Must have good communications skills

  • ICIA or other similar industry certification is helpful

Job Title:  Project Manager
Job Location: 
Silver Spring, Maryland

Jobholder is responsible for fully managing the installation of Audio Video systems to insure compliance with job specs. Manages all on-site personnel (e.g. installers, engineers, quality control). Insures compliance with contractual obligations.

Ideal candidate has 5 years of construction PM experience and the ability to coordinate general contracting requirements with all other trade subcontractors.  

Candidate will:

  • Define installation methods, procedures and timing

  • Insure adequate resources

  • Prepare MS Project Chart for installation

  • Review Cable Pull Schedule

  • Elicit proposals from subcontractors to Total AV

Requirements:

  • Exp with A/V, system setup, troubleshooting, control systems, video projectors.

  • Proficient with computers, use of test equipment, MS Word, Excel and Project.

  • Must have good communication skills

    Crestron & AMX programming desirable.

Manages all on-site personnel (e.g. installers, engineers, quality control). Insures compliance with contractual obligations.

Ideal candidate has 5 years of construction PM experience and the ability to coordinate general contracting requirements with all other trade subcontractors.  

Candidate will:

  • Manage and monitor performance and profitability

  • Maintain "Total" customer satisfaction

  • Provide employee training and retention

  • Fulfill commitments to clients

  • Ensure that office is staffed efficiently and that technical personnel have the training and skills necessary to meet objectives.

  • Manage subcontractors

  • Delivery a quality product to our clients

  • Travel to review operations and provide technical or management assistance as required

Requirements:

  • Five years of construction or engineering field experience.

  • Ten years of project management experience in the electrical or AV industry.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Software

  • This position requires regular travel

Manages all on-site personnel (e.g. installers, technicians, quality control). Insures compliance with contractual obligations.

Ideal candidate has 3 years of AV industry experience and the ability to coordinate client requirements with our technical staff.  

Candidate will:

  • Manage and monitor performance and profitability

  • Maintain "Total" customer satisfaction

  • Provide employee training and retention

  • Fulfill commitments to clients

  • Ensure that office is staffed efficiently and that technical personnel have the training and skills necessary to meet objectives.
